GREEN BUILDING DESIGN

Green building design can not be an afterthought.  The affects of the environment where the building is located must be understood by the designer. The designer’s response should be to integrate all of the positive environmental and social forces into the building design, protect the building and the occupants against the negative forces and ideally begin a path of not just being less bad but of a path that is regenerative.   This course will take you through the basics of ecological design and discuss the future of the built environment.
