Global Warming: Changing CO2urse
Climate Change Discussion Circle
In Coordination with the Climate Change Initiative of Howard County (CCIHC)
In this series of climate change discussion circles entitled "Global Warming: Changing CO2urse,"
members participate in the self-facilitated discussion guide developed by the Northwest Earth
Institute, a non-profit organization. During the meetings, participants read articles related to
climate change and discuss the information reviewed.
Topics covered include:
- Off Course: Explores the personal responses to climate change and why society has been slow to respond.
- Collision Course: Breaks down the history and science of climate change and our participation.
- Changing Course: Identifies new strategies and personal action to mitigate the effects of global warming.
- Setting A New Course: What will it take to create a sustainable future?
